Honorable (Congressman or Senator)

HARRISBURG, PA 17120

Dear (Congressman or Senator),

As President of the Fraternal Order of Police, Pennsylvania State Lodge, representing more than 40,000 police officers across Pennsylvania, I am writing you concerning our strong opposition to any proposed legislation that would amend the Act of June 24, 1968, P.L. 237, No. 111.  I respectfully request your support by opposing any legislation introduced modifying this law.

Act 111 allows our police officers to bargain for their concerns in a fair and impartial manner.  Modifying, restricting or altering this process would cause a great harm and severe injustice to the police officers and their families across Pennsylvania.

Once again, I respectfully request your support in opposing any changes that may be introduced regarding

Act 111.

                                                Very Truly Yours,

                                                MARK KOCH, PRESIDENT

                                                FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE

                                                PENNSYLVANIA STATE LODGE
