Dear Pres. Lutz,

It gives me great pleasure to convey to you the results of our resent Reading Police Pension Board meeting which was held this past Thurs. 1/13/00. Board member, Brother Larry Cacciacarne, engaged in a vigorous battle with a local V.P. from First Union Bank.

The meeting focused on our disgust with First Union Bank relative to the "Rage Against The Machine" function that took place in the First Union Center in Phila. PA.

In support of Phila. Lodge # 5 Boycott. Brother Cacciacarne's presentation and argument resulted in a unanimous decision of the Reading Police pension board to withdraw (Fifty-one million and eight hundred thousand dollars) from First Union and shop around for another custodian.

We pray that you will find some room in the state journal to print this information for our other brothers and sisters.
